A few weeks ago, Malandra visited the offices of VOGUE Mexico and we had the opportunity to give a masterclass on "How to elevate your look with jewelry and use it as a tool to enhance your style". We were with amazing people knowledgeable about the world of fashion and we talked about the beginnings of jewelry, the basics that cannot be missing in your closet, and learned to identify which style suits us best and how we can make it stand out with originality; as Elizabeth Taylor said, Jewelry has the power to be that little thing that makes you feel unique, and that is what we wanted to convey in this masterclass.
One of our favorite topics was that originality goes hand in hand with understanding the fundamentals and knowing the basics to create our look and elevate it in a way that best suits our personality; designer Donna Karan understood this perfectly and that is why during the 20th century the concept of the capsule wardrobe was created, Karan took it as inspiration to create a collection called Seven Easy Pieces and as the name suggests, they were seven basic or essential pieces with the aim of covering the needs of any wardrobe. Thus, creating a collection full of practicality, versatility, and functionality.
